Elected Officials
JAMES M. COOPER, Began serving as City Mayor in April of '09 and previously served as Village President from 2002 after serving on the Council as a Trustee for three years. Jim has a dental practice in Grosse Pointe Woods. He and his wife, Daria, have four children and when they can find the time, both love to golf and travel.
VICTORIA J. BOYCE began serving as a City Council Member in April '09, and previously served on the Village Council since February of '08 prior to serving as Village Clerk from February of '02. Vicki is a registered nurse. She and Peter have one son. Her hobbies include gardening and sewing.

DAVID J. GALBENSKI began serving on the City Council in April, 2010. He has been a resident of Grosse Pointe Shores since 2003 and is an attorney and CEO of a Legal Corporation. David and wife Lynn have one daughter and his hobbies include golf and travel.

BRIAN GERAGHTY began serving on the City Council in April, 2010 and previously was Chairman of the Harbor Ad Hoc Committee. Brian is an Engineer; married to wife Susan with whom he has one daughter. His hobbies include Boating, skiing, and motorsports.

ROBERT E. GRAZIANI was Village Clerk from February of ‘08 until April '09, when he began serving as a City Council Member. He previously served on the Grosse Pointe Township Board as well as serving on the Planning Commission from 1992 until 2000. Bob is a practicing attorney, and is married to Deborah with whom he has a daughter. His hobbies include tennis, golf and skiing.

THADDEUS (Ted) J. KEDZIERSKI began serving as a Member of the City Council in April of 2009. Ted is a Certified Public Accountant and Tax Attorney, married to Kathleen with whom he has two children and has been a Grosse Pointe Shores resident for 14 years. His hobbies include swimming and water polo.

DANIEL T. SCHULTE began serving as a Member of the City Council in April of 2009. Dan is an Automotive Marketing and Media Consultant, and is married to Mary Jo with whom he has two children.
